1½ cups (180g) chocolate protein powder, whey or plant-based
1 cup (120g) oat flour
¼ cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup (100g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
½ cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup (60ml) unsweetened applesauce
2 large eggs
2 tbsp (30ml) maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp (15ml) vanilla extract
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt

                                                 Instructions

1. Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round or square baking pan, or line it with parchment paper.

2. Combine the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the protein powder, oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

3. Combine the wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, almond milk, applesauce, eggs, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.

4. Make the batter
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

5. Prepare for baking
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. Bake
Bake for approximately 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
